Bandai Namco has announced Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It is due out digitally in September and will be playable at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 this weekend.
Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 features new 3D mazes with unique visuals, a “wide variety” of dynamic mazes, the new ability to bump ghosts, and the addition of “giant-sized ghost” boss battles. It builds upon the previous game’s “Chain Eating” mechanics by enabling users to build up to four ghost trains before eating away. The fan-favorite “Score Attack” mode where players need to gather as many points within a specified time as possible will return, in addition to a new “Adventure Mode” that will see players chasing fast moving fruit and battling big bosses.
