The Girl and the Robot for PC launches this summer

The Girl and the Robot, the ICO-inspired action adventure game Kickstarted by Flying Carpets Games in 2014, will launch for PC via Steam this summer, and for PlayStation 4 and Wii U later this year, the developer announced.

If you’d prefer not to wait until its final release, the alpha version is available to purchase now through Humble Widget for $9.00. Buying the alpha will guarantee you access to the final version when it launches.

The Girl and the Robot is a unique third person action/adventure game set in a fairy tale world. You take on the role of a young girl trying to escape from a castle ruled by an evil queen. On her way, she meets a mysterious robot that can be controlled remotely and together they encounter many challenges that test the strength of their new found friendship.
