Level-5 has released a new set of Yo-kai Watch 3 details and screenshots introducing the game’s ‘create a cat yo-kai’ feature, as well as some other new additions to the sequel.

My Nyan
With the new “Nyan Create” system, you can make your own original cat yo-kai. You can freely customize every feature to your liking, including its shape, color, voice, and race, then strengthen its abilities and skills, and bring it into battle.
Escape the “Zombie Night”
The “Zombie Night” is a strange phenomenon and dark night that throws the balance of yo-kai into disarray. If you’re able to defeat the zombie yo-kai using the “Doctor’s Special Hammer” without accident and ring the daybreak bell, your escape will be a success. Zombie Night will be a new form of action to enjoy.
Mysterious Investigators
In the United States of America, two FBY special investigators chasing after mysteries. There’s Marder, the small-talking theorist, and Kakurii, the intellectual realist. How are the involved with the mysteries that keep occurring one after the other?
In addition to everything introduced above, Yo-kai Watch 3 is packed with new elements and systems. Players will visit all new and expansive areas courtesy of the game’s United States of America setting, use new items like the “Dream Link,” obtain maps to find treasures like keys to open doors, battle and exchange yo-kai with friends, and even play a rhythm game that sees Inaho join Nya-KB.
Yo-kai Watch 3 is due out in Sushi and Tempura versions in Japan on July 16. Each version will cost 5,184 yen.
