Remedy Entertainment expands to two teams, developing new game with new partner
Second project in early concept phase. Neither are Alan Wake.Quantum Break developer Remedy Entertainment has expanded from a single into two development teams, the company announced.
“Moving forward, we want to create more games and hopefully get them out more often,” Remedy head of communications Thomas Puha said in a blog post. “In order to achieve this, Remedy has expanded into two game development teams.”
One team has been developing a brand new Remedy game with a new partner “for a while now.” The second team is working on an early concept, which will turn into a Remedy game at some point in the future.
Remedy adds that neither of these two projects are an Alan Wake game, but that it is exploring opportunities in other mediums to tell more Alan Wake stories.
Puha continued, “We can’t wait to show and tell your more about these new projects, but if there’s anything we’ve learned from the past, it’s that we should have the patience to announce games when they’re ready enough. So don’t expect us take the stage at E3 or gamescom this year.”
