All vanity items can also be earned by playing the game. All of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End‘s post-launch multiplayer maps and modes will be added to the game at no additional cost, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Naughty Dog announced.
Furthermore, all vanity and gameplay in-game store items will be unlockable through gameplay, meaning there will never be an item you’ll have to spend money on, if you prefer to unlock it by playing the game.
“This means that the Uncharted 4 Multiplayer community won’t be fragmented by different types of DLC, and that those who are loyal in participating in the community will be rewarded,” Uncharted 4 lead game designer Rober Cogburn said. “Our DLC release approach will represent an entirely new direction for Naughty Dog, and we are confident it will have a hugely positive impact and keep the Uncharted 4 Multiplayer community thriving.”
Over at the PlayStation Blog, Cogburn has posted an extensive guide to Uncharted 4‘s multiplayer mode.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is due out for PlayStation 4 worldwide on May 10.
