Touhou Sky Arena for PS4 launches May 20 in Japan
Touhou Project battle action game gets new release date.Following a delay from its previously planned May 6 Japanese release date to a general May release window, developer Area Zero has dated its Touhou Project game Touhou Sky Arena: Gensokyo Kuusen Hime Matsuri Climax for a May 20 release. It will cost 3,000 yen (3,240 yen with tax).
The high-tension battle action game sees players flying through the air, swinging swords, and exchanging fire. Up to four people can play together, and there is a unique “Tension System” that reacts when your battle performance is aligned with the music. The game features various Gensokyo locations depicted in 3D, 18 playable characters, and over 60 music tracks. It offers single-player, local multiplayer battle, and PlayStation Network online battle modes.
