Focus Home Interactive and Enigami have released a new set of screenshots from upcoming cel-shaded action RPG Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom.
The screenshots show off the various environments of the world of Mahera, from the Meonis Plains to the Hall of Giants.
Traveling in Shiness is centered on the Meonis Plains, which links the world together. The area is massive in scale, and fighting and exploring throughout the land will take you through towns and villages for quests, open plains, and puzzles and dungeons.
A key place in the plains is Shjue Village, where players can locate the mount vendor and purchase an Amos beast, which will help protagonist Chado and his comrades travel the plains quickly.
Other locations include the mysterious Train Station, which is an area not only technologically superior to neighboring settlements, but also militarized.
Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom is due out in 2016.
