Genkai Tokki: Seven Pirates full-length trailer, system details
First extended look at Compile Heart's new PS Vita RPG.Compile Heart has released the first full-length trailer for Genkai Tokki: Seven Pirates, its upcoming dungeon RPG for PS Vita.
The trailer provides an overview of the game’s characters, a look at the game’s battle system, world map exploration, the Chest Growth system, and more.
Additionally, Compile Heart has updated the game’s official website with new details on the game’s system.
Genkai Tokki: Seven Pirates is due out for PS Vita in Japan on August 4. If you missed it, we previously detailed the game’s world map and dungeon exploration, story and characters—and even more characters.

■ Dungeon Exploration
Items
In dungeons, you’ll come across treasure chests and glitters by interacting with which you can obtain a variety of items.
■ Battle
Combat sees four party members fight in command-style turn-based battles. When the battle starts, the character turn order is decided and players carry out their actions in that order. The turn order is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
■ Chest Growth
Characters will develop together with their chests.
By touching and rubbing the character’s chest using the Chest Growth system, their chest’s size and softness will change. You can even go from a big chest to a small chest. Through this, the character will become even stronger.
The Chest Growth system can offer the following effects:
- Character stats increase
- Skill acquisition
- Chest parameter change
Regarding Parameters
When you change chest parameters, not only will its appearance and jigliness change, but so will your stats and bonuses.
Parameters include:
- Size
- Upswing
- Softness
- Height
- Spread
- Springiness
How To: A Guide to Chest Growth
The following is a guide to user interaction with the Chest Growth system:
- Poke – Tap the screen
- Rub – Drag your finger on the screen in circles
- Clap Against – Flick the screen
- Pull – Drag in a whichever direction
- Grasp – Pinch in
- Mash – Pinch out
View Mode
In View Mode, you can check out the character’s transformed chest. You can also confirm its jiggliness.
