Dishonored 2 will launch worldwide for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 11, Bethesda Softworks and Arkane Studios announced.
The world premiere of Dishonored 2 gameplay will take place during Bethesda’s E3 2016 press conference on June 12, which begins at 7 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. ET and will be streamed lived via Twitch and YouTube.
The E3 2015-announced sequel, set 15 years after the first Dishonored, sends players on a revenge quest to reclaim the throne of Dunwall, gaining vengeance as either the first game’s protagonist Corvo Attano, or empress Emily Kaldwin, a new playable character with unique supernatural powers who was dethroned in the recent coup.
Dishonored 2 is also the cover story for Game Informer’s June 2016 issue. The magazine has a 14-page feature that covers an array of topics, including “gameplay enhancements, difficulty customization, the impressive art direction, and the implementation of a new technology platform called the Void Engine.”
Thanks, Game Informer.
