Famitsu has gone up with a new online preview of World’s Longest 5 Minutes following a preview in this week’s edition of its magazine, providing our first direct-feed look at the Syupro-DX-developed Nippon Ichi Software game.
World’s Longest 5 Minutes starts at the final battle with the Demon King, just before which the hero forgets all the memories of his adventure thus far. While the game depicts a five-minute battle with the Demon King, the game itself is not actually five minutes long. Conversations with your allies will manifest during the fight with the Demon King, through which you’ll recollect the memories of your adventure. Because these flashback scenes are inserted everywhere, the final battle against the Demon King becomes known as the “World’s Longest 5 Minutes.” That said, while this has the appearance of a classic RPG, it is actually an adventure game.
World’s Longest 5 Minutes is due out for PS Vita in Japan on July 28 for 4,298 yen via retail or 3,086 yen via download. A limited edition including a Syupro-DX Legacy Title soundtrack CD, proposal, creation materials, and daily calendar will be available for 6,458 yen.
