Media Create Sales: 3/21/16 – 3/27/16

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 for 3DS bested new releases like Dark Souls III, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X, and Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 during its opening week in Japan, the latest Media Create sales figures reveal. The handheld RPG moved 368,665 units during its opening week.

The PlayStation 4 version of Dark Souls III followed the 3DS Dragon Quest with 210,141 sales during its first week. The Xbox One version didn’t chart the top 20.

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X for PS Vita followed with 69,438 sales. A PlayStation 4 version is due out in Japan this fall.

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune for PlayStation 4 sold 44,723, while Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Venus for PS Vita sold 21,959. In total, Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 sales topped 66,692 during its opening week. The beach vacation activities game is not coming west, but it is available in English.
