Kadokawa Games has released a new developer diary for Root Letter, its upcoming mystery adventure game for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, featuring the game’s staff who express their passion in creating the game through the key elements “Letters,” “Shimane,” and “Mystery.”
Additionally, the company has detailed two new “mystery actresses” set to appear in the game. As previously announced, fictional actress AYA plays in-game character Aya Fumino. AYA will play a variety of roles throughout Kadokawa Games’ series of mystery adventure games. She is joined by two other actresses.
SHIORI (voiced by Yuko Minaguchi)
Born in Tokyo. The oldest of three sisters. Blood-type A. Hard-working with a serious personality. She’s the wholehearted type who does her best when it comes to the nitty-gritty. She’s acknowledges of AYA and YUKARI’s talent.
AYA (voiced by Noriko Hidaka)
Born in Tokyo. An only child. Blood-type AB. She likes Japanese history and culture (Japanese architecture, clothing, food, etc.). She also has interest in Japanese mythology and folklore.
YUKARI (voiced by Kikuko Inoue)
Born in Kanagawa. She has an older brother. Blood-type O. A genius. She can do whatever she is made to do skillfully, but since she is disinterested, she often plays the supporting role.
