Classic Pokemon 3DS and 2DS bundles announced for North America and Europe

(North America) New 3DS with Cover Plates Hardware Bundle
A New 3DS hardware bundle with cover plates featuring the box art for Pokemon Red Version and Pokemon Blue Version and the Pokemon 20th anniversary logo will be release on February 27. It will come pre-loaded with Pokemon Red Version and Pokemon Blue Version, as well as Home Menu theme.
(Europe) Pokemon Nintendo 2DS Special Edition Hardware Bundles
Three Pokemon-themed Nintendo 2DS Special Edition hardware bundles will launch across Europe on February 27. The new bundles include 2DS in transparent red, blue or yellow and a pre-installed Virtual Console version of Pokemon Red Version, Pokemon Blue Version, or Pokemon Yellow Version, corresponding to the 2DS system’s color. The Nintendo 2DS Special Edition bundles also feature classic packaging reminiscent of the original Game Boy games, a sheet of 15 stickers that can be used to customize the 2DS , and a download code for a Home Menu theme.
(Europe) New 3DS Cover Plates
A Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon cover plate set featuring artwork from the game will launch on February 19, and another set featuring artwork of classic Pokemon is also coming on February 27.
Mythical Pokemon Distribution Events
Nintendo will distribute the following Pokemon to Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, Pokemon Omega Ruby, or Pokemon Alpha Sapphire throughout the year via the following outlets:

- March: Celebi (Nintendo Network)
- April: Jirachi (Nintendo Network)
- May: Darkrai (Gamestop)
- June: Manaphy (Nintendo Network)
- July: Shaymin (Nintendo Network)
- August: Arceus (Gamestop)

- October: Keldeo (Nintendo Network)
- November: Genesect (Gamestop)

Super Bowl Commercial
The Pokemon Company will air a TV spot during the Super Bowl on February 7 that “will encourage fans to ‘train on.'”
Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow will launch for 3DS via the Nintendo eShop worldwide on February 27.
