Sega shared a first look at the Yakuza 6 early demo included with copies of Yakuza: Kiwami during a Yakuza series 10th anniversary commemoration event held in Tokyo Akihabara UDX Theater today.
The video shows series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu walking and fighting about Kamurocho. As the first PlayStation 4-only entry in the series, the graphics have seen an impressive upgrade, and it’s only at 60 to 70 percent of its final level, according to series creator Toshihiro Nagoshi. And in addition to these new graphics, they’re also incorporating various new techniques in how they showcase motion. Finally, Nagoshi said the theme of Yakuza 6 is “freedom,” in that you can freely move about various locations, and in many ways there are no divisions.
Sega has also launched a recruitment website for actresses who want to appear in Yakuza 6‘s hostess clubs.
