Xbox One version on the way, rating suggests.

Rocket League

The Taiwanese Game Software Rating Regulations board has rated Rocket League for Xbox One.

The vehicular soccer game is currently available on PlayStation 4 and PC, and supports cross-play between the two platforms.

An Xbox One version has yet to be officially announced.

    This game is really fun!
X1 players need to play it :3

Why isn’t it on X1? I’m not starting a fight just curious.

Because in this game you can play against PC players and i heard MS never agreed with cross-play between X1 and PC while Sony always open with cross play between PS4 and PC. That’s why this game only released for PS4 & PC. But maybe MS changing their policy? who knows…

Microsoft is starting to push cross-platform play on PC and X1 as long as it isn’t a Shooter or a game where the PC player base would get an upper hand due to KB+Mouse. Sea of Thieves and Fable Legends are cross-platform so yeah.

I thought Neverwinter Online was cross play. Maybe not.

They have cross play with PC or they are pushing for it. They are just not fond of cross play with their direct competitor.

        Thanks for answering

Rocket League is arguably the funniest game this year. It’s my favorite PS4 game without a doubt. Everyone should have the chance to play this game. I welcome this game on the Xbox One. They should have the same amount of fun I’m having with the game.

      Good on you man.

It sucks when a third party game is only for one console. I believe regardless of the console the game should come out on it if the developers have the money and the console can run it.

        • DLConspiracy//

The money tends to be the big part. It cost a lot more to bring it to numerous consoles but if the game is good enough distribution should be worth it.

    Ew, why?

Good news all around, although I am left wondering how the multiplayer is going to work if this is released on the Xbox One also.

Currently the community is one big unified whole ( aside from cross-platform party’s that is ), how will online work with both consoles on the scene? Will Ps4 players be able to be thrown into matches where there are also Xbox One players, or won’t they and will this create micro-splits in the community during play?
