Ubisoft debuted the first gameplay trailer and a 10-minute gameplay walkthrough of Far Cry Primal during The Game Awards 2015 in Los Angeles this evening.
Beast Master is a new feature that lets players tame predators they find in the open world and use them as weapons, including wolves, sabretooth tigers, cave bears, honey badgers. Players will be able to summon these animals at any moment and use them as they like to take down enemies, scout areas, or act as a distraction.
Additionally, Ubisoft has announced the Far Cry Primal “Deluxe Edition with SteelBook” for North America:

The upcoming Far Cry game is set in 10,000 BC, where massive beasts like the woolly mammoth and sabretooth tiger roamed the Earth, and follows Takkar, a seasoned hunter and the last surviving member of his hunting group, who must survive in an open-world where humans are the prey.
Far Cry Primal is due out worldwide for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 23, 2016, and for PC in March 2016.
