Bandai Namco has shared new details and screenshots of One Piece: Burning Blood, its upcoming dynamic fighting game from Spike Chunsoft.
Characters confirmed to appear so far include Monkey D. Luffy, Sabo, Ace, Bartolomeo, Ener, Crocodile, and Bartolomeo, as well as the newly announced Smoker.
One Piece: Burning Blood has several strategic features. Players can create a team of three characters and swap them out in order to gain a tactical advantage. Certain characters can use special “Logia Moves” for unique abilities. “Logia Fruits” also allow the use of “Logia Guard,” where some characters are untouchable by physical attacks for limited amount of time. The “Haki” blow is a counter to this guard, however. “Devil Fruits” will also act as the source of unique and powerful “Special Attacks” and “Reinforced Special Attacks.”
One Piece: Burning Blood is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PS Vita in 2016.
