Famitsu has gone up with its latest online preview of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, providing a handful of new, albeit low-res, direct-feed screenshots.
The Dead or Alive Xtreme series is known for its variety of activities, including tug-of-war, flag racing, pool hopping, and so on. In Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, which is set once again on “Zack Island,” even more events are being added. Additionally, even when playing the same activities, simply changing a character’s swimsuit can leave a fresh impression.
The game also uses an enhanced version (version 2.0) of the Soft Engine that debuted in Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, which makes the characters’ chest and butt flexibility, as well as their skin texture, more realistic.
Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune for PlayStation 4 and Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Venus for PS Vita are due out in Japan on February 25. If you missed it this morning, catch the first footage of the PlayStation 4 version here.
