Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune for PlayStation 4 and Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Venus for PS Vita will launch in Japan on February 25, 2016, the latest issue of Famitsu reveals.
A “Famitsu TKG” live stream will be held on October 14 with the latest footage.
The sequel’s lineup of playable characters, announced at the Tokyo Game Show, includes Marie Rose, Honoka, Kasumi, Ayane, Kokoro, Nyotengu, Hitomi, Momijji, and Elena.
Thanks, Famitsu.
Update 9:03 a.m.: Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune will cost 9,504 yen and have a 14,904 yen collector’s edition. Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Venus will cost 8,424 yen and have a 13,824 yen collector’s edition. Both games will feature Marie Rose and Honoka on the front cover, given they were the most popular girls in the playable character election.
At a later date, Koei Tecmo plans to launch a download-only Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 “Starter Pack” including a single character. It won’t be free, and it will be possible to add additional characters by purchasing them separately. A release date and price for the Starter Pack will be announced later on.
Both “Butt Battle” and “Beach Volleyball” gameplay modes are in. More events than previous titles are planned.
Development on Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 is currently 18 percent complete.
Thanks, Sokuho@Hokanko.
