TGS 2015 attendance tops 268,000

Tokyo Game Show 2016 runs from September 15 to 18.

268,446 people attended the Tokyo Game Show this year, the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association announced.

The four-day trade show ran from September 17 to 20 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba. The 2013 edition of the expo still holds the record for the highest attended Tokyo Game Show.

This year’s busiest day was September 20, with 112,230 people inside the Makuhari Messe. Here’s the full rundown:

September 17 (business day) – 29,058 attended
September 18 (business day) – 29,557 attended
September 19 (public day) – 97,601 attended (including 10,360 in Family Area)
September 20 (public day) – 112,230 attended (including 14,517 in Family Area)
Total attendance – 268,446 (including 24,877 in Family Area)

Tokyo Game Show 2016 will run from September 15 to 18.
