New Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball announcement teased for TGS 2015
Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball 2015 on the way?
Konami will announce a new Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball game at the Tokyo Game Show next week, if a tweet from the chibi baseball franchise’s official Twitter account is go by.
The tweet reads: “Sorry to keep you waiting. [Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball series fictional baseball player Akio] Yabe here. We’re celebrating the launch of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain by going about an infiltration mission to a certain production team. And while it’s still not listed on Konami’s special site, it seems like there will be an important announcement at next week’s Tokyo Game Show 2015. We’ll continue our investigation!”
The latest entry in the series, Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball 2014, launched for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in Japan on October 23 last year. The previous year’s release also launched in October. A 2015 entry is still not announced. If announced and launched within the same window, it could be the fastest announcement-to-release in the series.
