Monster Strike 3DS launches December 17 in Japan
Popular smartphone game becomes a 3D RPG on 3DS.Monster Strike will launch for 3DS in Japan on December 17 for 4,500 yen, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals.
The 3DS adapation of the popular smartphone game is a 3D RPG. It will feature original protagonists and characters to explore and battle with. There are four main characters, each with one monster. There’s also a 3DS-original transcendence monster called “Kagutsuchi.”
Every monster will have their own cut-ins not featured in the smartphone version. The battle screen is also different from the smartphone version in that players will turn the 3DS sideways, and balance adjustments have also been made.
All of the monsters have been given pixel versions in the 3DS game in order to easier see them. Stereoscopic 3D is also supported.
If you missed it, we published a first look at Monster Strike for 3DS back in July.
