PS4 launches lighter weight, less power consuming model in Japan this month
10 percent lighter, eight percent less power consumption.
Sony Computer Entertainment will launch a new PlayStation 4, available in both Jet Black and Glacier White color options, towards the end of June in Japan, followed by North America, Europe, and Asian countries and regions, the company announced.
The new console’s weigh has been reduced by 10 percent and power consumption by eight percent. The system’s HDD bay cover also has a new matte finish.
The new PlayStation 4 will cost 39,980 yen / $399 / €399.
