A trademark for “Mirror’s Edge Catalyst” has been filed in Europe. The mark was filed by patent and trademark attorneys J A Kemp, believed to be representing Electronic Arts.
A domain name for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst was also registered on June 5.
With a Q1 2016 release planned, Electronic Arts is expected to debut its new Mirror’s Edge game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC at E3 next week. Given it’s only been referred to as Mirror’s Edge since its announcement, it’s possible this is the game’s final title. Either that, or this is a mobile spin-off.
Thanks, NeoGAF.
