Risen 3 Enhanced Edition announced for PS4

PS4 version includes all post-launch content, updated visuals.

Risen 3: Titan Lords is coming to PlayStation 4 as Risen 3: Titan Lords Enhanced Edition, publisher Deep Silver announced.

The update includes all the updates and additional content launched for the original version (including the “Adventure Garb”, “Fog Island”, and “Uprising of the Little Guys” add-ons), graphics comparable to the “Ultra” setting of the PC version, new post-processing effects such as “bokeh depth-of-field and HDR bloom,” and a new volumetric cloud system that adds “even more spectacular skies and sunsets” to the game’s dynamic day-night cycles.

“With the Enhanced Edition we have the great opportunity to acquaint even more console gamers with our way of crafting worlds. Due to the graphical updates, they can enjoy the exploration of the living and breathing world more than ever”, said director Björn Pankratz in a press release.

Risen 3: Titan Lords Enhanced Edition will launch worldwide digitally on August 21, with physical retail versions planned for release in the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, Spain and Nordic territories.

If you’re in Germany next week, the game will be playable for the first time at the Role Play Convention in Cologne from May 16 to 17.
