Fire Emblem If will have a new “My Castle” feature that will allow players to create and share their own base.
You’ll be able to establish facilities such as weapon and item shops in vacant lots, appoint comrades as salespersons, interact with allies, and interact with other players via StreetPass functionality. When you visit another player’s My Castle area, you’ll be able to buy weapons and items not available in your own land. You can also use My Castle to battle against other players.
In addition to the new feature, Nintendo announced that the Marth, Ike, Robin, and Lucina Amiibo will be compatible with the 3DS game. Touching them to the handheld brings that character into your My Castle area, where you can interact and battle with them.
Fire Emblem If is due out for 3DS in Japan on June 25.
