The 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King will ship with new scenarios not in the original PS2 version. V-Jump this month reveals those scenarios to be called “Dhoulmagus’ Past” and “The Hero’s Childhood.”
A screenshot of the “Dhoulmagus’ Past” scenario shows Dholmagus’ saying, “Ahh, I wonder how I can learn proper magic…” While a screenshot of “The Hero’s Childhood” shows a younger hero in bed with a lady at his side.
Dragon Quest VIII is due out for 3DS on August 27 in Japan.
