Takayuki Yamada continues to put work aside for games in latest PS4 TV spots
He's way too busy with his "other work."
Continuing its series of PlayStation 4 advertisements starring Takayuki Yamada in Japan, Sony has released two new TV spots.
In the first TV spot, we see Yamada wearing a gladiator outfit, seemingly the costume for work he’s accepted, asking about the possibility of a schedule change. What’s taking up all of his time? “Resident Evil, God Eater, Yakuza, One Piece!”
In the second TV spot, we see Yamada at home playing Bloodborne when he receives a phone call, to which he answers with a fake answering machine. “This is Yamada. I’m home, but my hands are tied. Try again a lit—” Then the Cleric Beast attacks him. “Ahhh. Please call again at a later time!”
Both TV spots aim to highlight the platform’s recent and upcoming big releases, which are all coming out (or are already out) within close proximity of each other:
- February 19 – God Eater 2: Rage Burst
- February 26 – Dragon Quest Heroes and Resident Evil Revelations 2
- March 12 – Yakuza 0
- March 19 – Final Fantasy Type-0 HD
- March 26 – Bloodborne and One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3
