Media Create Sales: 3/16/15 – 3/22/15

The PlayStation 4 version of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD debuted in Japan last Thursday at number one on the Media Create sales charts, moving 92,000 units in its first week.

It is followed by the PlayStation 3 version of Resident Evil Revelations 2, also newly released, which opened at 73,000 sales. The PlayStation 4 version came in fourth place at 42,000 sales.

Also new this week, the PlayStation 4 version of Battlefield: Hardline opened at third most sold with 69,000 sales, and the PlayStation 3 version at seventh with 29,000 sales. Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition also launched at retail with 36,000 sales.

On the hardware side, PlayStation 4 moved the most units this week with 46,000 sales, jumping 13,000 from last week’s already higher-than-normal sales thanks to the releases of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and Resident Evil Revelations 2. Everything else sold about the same.
