Super Stardust Ultra will launch for PlayStation 4 on February 10 at $12.99 in North America and February 11 at €12.99 in Europe, Sony Computer Entertainment announced.
The PlayStation 4 port of the PlayStation 3 shoot ’em up supports 3D at a full 60 frames per second in 1080p, and includes five newly designed planets, visual enhancements, and nine single-player game modes, some of which are brand new and only on PlayStation 4.
One new mode is called “Blockade,” which tasks players with avoiding endless trails of deadly mines continually dropped from the back of your Star fighter. But everything else on the planet is also destroyed if it makes contact with the mines, so they can be used to your advantage. Timing your bombs and boost is critical to surviving.
