Etrian Mystery Dungeon clips showcase Wanderer class, turn-based battles
Plus, new details on Special Blast and Representative Skills.Atlus updated the official website for Etrian Mystery Dungeon this morning with new footage of the upcoming 3DS dungeon RPG.
The footage highlights the Wanderer class, as well as turn-based battles.
Additionally, the website was updated with new skill details:
Special Blast Skill
- Gust – Creates a sudden burst of wind that blows enemies around in a given room. It won’t outright defeat them, however.
Representative Skills
- Stone – Throws a rock at an enemy within an arc-shaped radius and damages them.
- Hunt – An attack that affects any enemies in front of the caster; if the enemy is either a bird or animal type, extra damage is inflicted. A weapon is required in order to cast it.
- Tunnel – Destroys walls up to three spaces away in front of the caster.
Watch the new footage below. The game is due out for 3DS in Japan on March 5 and in North America this spring.
Wanderer Class
Those who wander the world, chasing legends, and live their lives as an adventurous journey. They’re the triumphant dungeon masters of Mystery Dungeon.
Turn-based Battles and the Party
Each major action, whether it’s an attack, using a skill or item, changing equipment, or even just moving a space, takes up a turn. When you’re not in combat, this means that every party member will regain a little health each turn, albeit in exchange for their hunger ticking down.
