Electronic Arts celebrates 20 years of PlayStation with free games.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare

To celebrate PlayStation’s 20th anniversary, Electronic Arts is giving away three games free on PlayStation Network.

The free games, which will go live at noon PST today, are:

  • Need for Speed: Most Wanted (PS Vita)
  • Mirror’s Edge (PS3)
  • Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare (PS4)

The games will remain free for all users until tomorrow night at midnight PST.

    I don’t have a PS4, so should I be able to “buy” PvsZ through PC and it’ll be available when I do finally get a PS4?

      Of course, when you get your PS4, you dont need to buy it. I brought some contents before for a system I dont have.

          I tend to use “private browsing” mode so I can log into different region stores without having to clear cookies, etc. I checked the US and UK store and the offer is available to both regions.

    Free is free, so yay. Already have the retail copy of NFS on Vita, but a digital copy is always nice to have. Double dipped on digital Mirror’s Edge when it was like $3 awhile back… and I own PvZ: GW at retail, but digital is nice to have… :P

    funny i was just thinking about mirrors edge a few days ago….then i get a text from one of my friends “HEY!! ITS FREE FOR THIS WEEKEND ONLY” i had to jump on that….a nice Fat Blunt Rolled and scaling buildings and landscapes….sounds like a win to me…
