Idea Factory International will release a limited edition version of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2: Sisters Generation alongside the standard version in North America and Europe, the company announced.

  • A copy of the game
  • “Nepgear’s Memories” 2015 Desktop Calendar

      They play pretty great, still some framerate issues though but not as frequent as the PS3 version

        And how the hell does this change anything? They announced they were going to take “pre-orders” on August and fucked that up like idiots. I don’t give a fuck if it was their first time publishing a limited edition physical release because NISA already showed them there is demand and they completely fucking failed to prepare.

          They didn’t fail to prepare. They made it limited to 1,000 units, which is actually a perfectly legitimate thing to do. Some limited editions can actually be, you know, limited. The limit was forced by the Japanese side with the keychain, but that’s fine. Again, some things are intended to be limited, like the PS4 20th Anniversary model being limited to 12,300 models.

          The REAL issue is that Amazon ended up working unreliably. That wasn’t really IFI’s fault, but they still issued an apology and are working out a much easier solution for Re;birth2.

          I understand why you would be upset about missing out, but crying about a limited object being limited is a bit contrary to the entire point of limiting. Being mad at Amazon for their inconsistent service? Now that I get.

          One thing we know is that IFI aren’t going to try the same thing with Amazon again. They got screwed over once, and that’s enough for them.

            They completely failed to prepare. They not only didn’t allow international buyers despite saying the would, but also blocked some us sellers.

            Oh, well that’s fine and dandy and all, but why the fuck did they not consider a KEYCHAIN-LESS LE. You have to be stupid to think only 1,000 copies of an LE was a smart idea, even more so for the way they decided to “handle” the “pre-orders.” Usually, when something is going to be that limited, you usually LIMIT THE AMOUNT THEY CAN PURCHASE AT ONCE. Several people got multiple copies and are scalping them, that’s not funny!

            But sure, why not, lets continue to ignore how bad they fucked it up despite having information and time to prepare because you feel Amazon should take the blame for IFI’s poor planning. The apology means shit and they didn’t do anything to remedy the situation. Didn’t attempt to cancel the orders that obtained multiple copies, didn’t reset the pre-order date, NOTHING. I have many reasons to be pissed. Amazon didn’t plan this release, IFI DID! I was on their facebook, I saw the bullshit they posted, stop spewing it to me again cause it isn’t changing anything!
