From SCE San Diego and The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency.SCE San Diego Studio and The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency, the studio helmed by David Jaffe, announced Drawn to Death, a hand-drawn arena shooter, for PlayStation 4 during PlayStation Experience in Las Vegas.
An arena shooter, the game takes place inside the notebook of a creative teenager. Jaffe describes it as a “violent and bizarre landscape filled with all of the weird, amazing, passionate, and exciting fantasies that are swimming around in the head of our teenage artist.”
The game plays like “the offspring of an old school arena shooter” with “updated, modern sensibilities.” Its signature launch mode—Four-Player Deathmatch—promises to be full of action, as well as give players the need and ability to master “advanced environment movement, earn and exploit enemy tells, and form clever strategies.”
If you’re at PlayStation Experience, the game is playable in its pre-alpha state on the show floor. And for those both there and at home, you can visit the game’s official website to sign up for the game’s early access. If you sign up this weeend, you’ll gain access to a “super rare, super limited in-game mystery item.”
