Famitsu this week confirms Leo Whitefang will appear as a downloadable add-on character in Guilty Gear Xrd: Sign.
Leo, voiced by Tetsu Inada, is one of the kings of Illyria and known as the “Dual Swords Lion King.” He is a friend and rival to Ky, and is faced against a new threat lurking on the doorstep of his kingdom. You might have noticed Leo in the game’s Tokyo Game Show trailer or on its box art.
The magazine also reveals a Guilty Gear Xrd “Tournament Support App” will be released for smartphones. It is supported by the PlayStation 4 version of the game and will let players create their own tournaments, check details and results, and receive alerts when matches begin.
Also mentioned: a single multiplayer lobby in Guilty Gear Xrd can hold up to 64 people. Players will be able to talk with each other via a short chat feature.
Guilty Gear Xrd: Sign is due out for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on December 16 in North America and December 4 in Japan.
Thanks, Re: Zaregoto.
