Hopefully people buy this and skip Triad Wars, so that a message is sent to the studio.

and then S-E will turn around and say no SD2.

      It’s a catch 22 :P

Reverse-PR stunt. We hire a group of Triads to infliltrate Square Enix offices.

      • Zackasaur

I think SD2 is already in development. lulz

Triad Wars is a ninimal-effort cash grab, so it can’t take many devs to maintain it.

          you “think”

However, there is no official confirmation :P

          • Zackasaur

Indeed, but then we would have to wonder what all those devs are doing. xD

having imaginary tea parties with stuffed animal toys

              • Zackasaur

                … Toy Story style?

I would like to be witness to that.

One of my favorite games, great OST, great characters and plot, it’s a shame that Square-Enix is releasing Triad Wars.

But again, you can’t expect much from Square-Enix these days.

  • Budgiecat

I barely see a graphical improvement

Me either. I guess it’s not blurry anymore but that’s all I see.

Really psyched to get this. Loved what I’ve played of it on the PC, but would love it even more if it the game wasn’t accompanied by my PC’s insane fan noise.

From what I can tell (off memory) it looks better than the PC version did, and given that it comes with all the DLC it’s a good value proposition.

Don’t have the money for it right now though (and a massive back catalogue that needs clearing) so I might as well hold off for a bit. Bet it will be forgotten and dead cheap in a few weeks once the years’ big hitters come out.

I still want to get it. Just to support the developers and play all the DLC. Also, getting to play it with the DS4 is a huge plus. =)

    improvements you say? blimey!

The pc definitive edition looks marginally worse than the regular pc edition. For consoles users its really an upgrade, but for pc users its a let down. And they removed the regular one from Steam.
