Media Create Sales: 10/13/14 – 10/19/14

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate remains on top in this week’s Japanese sales chart. The 3DS update, which opened at 1.4 million last week, sold another 327,000 copies this week.

Square Enix‘s Chaos Rings III: Prequel Trilogy for PS Vita is this week’s highest selling new release. The RPG package opened at 12,000 sales. Idea Factory‘s Amnesia Later X Crowd V Edition came in second in the new release department with over 3,000 sales.

On the hardware end, 3DS remains on top, moving 113,000 units across all four of its SKUs. Outside of PS Vita, whose sales are up a couple hundred units, hardware sales generally declined compared to last week.
