Halo: The Master Chief Collection footage shows Coagulation map remake
In The Master Chief Collection, it's called Bloodline.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection will include a remake of the Halo 2 map Coagulation, which itself was a remake of the Halo: Combat Evolved map Blood Gulch. In The Master Chief Collection, it’s called Bloodline. Today, Microsoft released new footage and screenshots of the map.
“The remade version of the iconic Coagulation is called Bloodline, and features a number of changes to keep things fresh,” Microsoft said in an Xbox Wire post. “It’s like a ‘Best Of’ collection for all the iterations of Blood Gulch. Longtime players will note new additions, like the UNSC Hornets from Halo 3 behind each base and a small bridge to the side that offers new areas of cover for players attacking it.
“Of course, Bloodline is still a sandbox Halo playground, and vehicles are a huge part of that. Consequently, the addition of an EMP at each base works as a defense against the inevitable Warthogs and Hornets zooming in for the kill. And if two bases isn’t enough for you, Bloodline even features a midfield base – complete with Banshee and Warthog, ensuring lots more hectic mayhem in the canyon.”
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is due out for Xbox One on November 11.
