Xbox One sells 23,000 during first week in Japan

Titanfall highest-selling launch title at 22,000.

Xbox One sold a total of 23,562 units during its launch week in Japan, according to Famitsu sales numbers.

Its top-selling game was Titanfall at 22,416 units, followed by Kinect Sports Rivals at 14,191 units, and Dead Rising 3 at 7,330 units.

PlayStation 4, in comparison, opened to 309,000 sales, and Wii U to 308,000. Its predecessor Xbox 360 opened to 62,000 sales when it launched in 2005.

Xbox One launched in Japan on September 4.
