The Great Ace Attorney website details characters, more
New trailer coming at the Tokyo Game Show on September 18.Capcom has launched the official website for The Great Ace Attorney, its upcoming Meiji Era-set Ace Attorney featuring Sherlock Holmes.
The website features character descriptions for protagonist Ryuunosuke Naruhodou, his assistant Susato Mikotoba, Sherlock Holmes, and the young Iris Watson.
Ryuunosuke Naruhodou
The protagonist. A student of the Imperial Yuumei University of the Empire of Japan. Taking advantage of a certain event, he aims at becoming an attorney. To learn the ways of the new justice system, he travels to the British Empire as a exchange student with the fire of justice burning in his chest.
Susato Mikotoba
A young girl who supports Ryuunosuke as a “Legal Assistant” because of certain circumstances. She enjoys reading foreign detective novels and is a virtuous woman of old Japan with big dreams of leadership.
Sherlock Holmes
The most famous detective in the world. With his excessively sharp powers of observation and inference, to seek the real truth, sometimes he must go to the opposite side of reality. “The Rampage of Ethics” has already begun. A miracle meeting between the great detective and a certan attorney sparks a major turnabout in the courts of London.
Iris Watson
A young girl who lives with Holmes. She is only eight-years-old, has a medical doctorate, and has penned the popular London novel series, “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.” Her power of reasoning is rumored to surpass that even of the great detective.
The meeting between Naruhodou and Holmes is said to cause a chemical reaction. Together, they must use “Joint Reasoning” to solve a new mystery.
Here’s more from the website:
Speaking of Sherlock Holmes, as everyone knows, he is famous worldwide as “The Greatest Detective.” His astounding observation power and excellent insight, as well as his ingenius reasoning, allows him to solve any case.
On the other hand, the protagonist Ryuunosuke Naruhodou excels in “quips” and “bluffs.” As an attorney, he’s saved his clients again and again from false charges. He is the great ancestor of Ace Attorney series protagonist Phoenix Wright (known as Ryuuichi Naruhodou in Japan).
Players will battle in the courts of not only the Empire of Japan (left), but across the sea in the great capital of London (right), as well.
The Great Ace Attorney is due out for 3DS in Japan next year. A new trailer will debut at the Tokyo Game Show on September 18.
