Futuridium EP Deluxe will launch for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita next Tuesday, September 30 in North America and Wednesday, October 1 in Europe, developed MixedBag announced.

The game will cost $12.49 be cross-buy, meaning one purchase gets you both the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita versions. PlayStation Plus subscribers can get the game at a 20 percent launch discount at $9.99.

The space shooter offers a new campaign featuring 50 levels, five bosses, bonus levels, new mechanics, secret stuff, and “a slew” of unlockable extra modes. There’s also “crazy difficult” medals and PlayStation Network Trophies, for those looking for a challenge.

    Seems like a game I would play on my Vita during road trips. Will reconsider buying later on down the road. Also, the graphics reminded me of something: whatever happened to the game the devs of Frequency/Amplitude pitched for Kickstarter?
