  • MyBodyIsReady

    Generous scores for Ryse…

    • DrForbidden

It’s an average score, actually. Not much different from Metacritic’s.

      • waku waku

I think @MyBodyIsReady:disqus was implying that Ryse is a terrible game.

        • DrForbidden

Sure, but the Metacritic score is 60/100, which is about comparable.

      • MyBodyIsReady

        7 is not average

        • DrForbidden

Famitsu almost never assign scores less than 20/40, even for the worst games. Therefore, 30 is the middle score, not 20.

          29/40? Average.

  • Articuno76

So they’ve just got their hands on the upcoming XBO launch line-up. Remind of the Japanese launch date again? Later this month, right?

    • Elle

      This week? I don’t know

    • NyaBoy

      4th September

  • desponent

Oh? Seems that MS allocate tight budget for XBO “PR” on Japan.

  • Elle

    Did MS cheque bounce?

    • Sav

      • Zackasaur

Elle was correct. Cheque. It’s the non-US version of the word.

    • DrForbidden

Wait, you were expecting games like Kinect Sports, Crimson Dragon, Zumba Fitness, and Ryse to get high scores? Really?

      • Elle

If a bank account is involved, anything is possible

      • Elvick

“Games like” Crimson Dragon? Yes, I could see games like it score highly…

        • DrForbidden

Well, in this instance, ‘like’ means ‘such as’ rather than ‘similar to’…

  • PrinceHeir

Chain Chronicle has potential, but it looks okay though :

    • Renaldi Saputra

I’m playing it, I must say it’s simple but unique. You can understand the game without knowing much Japanese. And it’s not a money milking online game, it’s very fair.

      • DevilMayCry898

I’m not a fan of strategy(because they require brains. I’m stupid in that area)but I’ll give this game a shot now.(I have a JPN PSN so I can do that.)

        • Renaldi Saputra

it’s not strategy game, very different.
          It’s rather active battle system

  • DarthBrian

    Apparently Microsoft’s check didn’t clear.

  • MrKappa

I’m surprised these Naruto games continue to score high seeing how they are copy paste jobs that only get worse and worse in the gameplay department.

    • Renaldi Saputra

Jump major series always get high score

    • Elle

Yeah I only really enjoyed the first one. Bought storm 2 and was kinda meh to me.

    • xMCXx

They actually don’t get worse, they stay the same. Though I like the changes they made in Revolution.
      Also, sick Team Ultimates.

    • http://andaryu3.wordpress.com/ Phantom Andaryu

To me and all of my friends who like Naruto, we feel like they just keep getting better, not worse. If you don’t like something, that doesn’t mean other people feel the same way.

      • MrKappa

And conversely just because you and your friends like it doesn’t mean it is actually good.

        • http://andaryu3.wordpress.com/ Phantom Andaryu

Fair enough, I accept your point. At the very least, it must explain why it keeps selling so high, because the majority of the fans are interested in what the series does.

  • Elvick

Are the PC versions of Ryse and Dead Rising 3 coming to Japan anytime soon?
