Transform into past Final Fantasy characters in Final Fantasy Explorers

Cloud Strife the first transformation to be revealed.

In Final Fantasy Explorers, players will have access to a mysterious power called “Trance” that will enable them to transform into past Final Fantasy characters for a limited period of time.

In a live stream this morning, Square Enix revealed the first transformation to be Cloud from Final Fantasy VII. When you transform, the background music will also be changed to that of Final Fantasy VII.

Also revealed during the stream were two new jobs, the “Dragoon” and the “Dark Knight.” Additionally, Square Enix shared over 46 minutes worth of new footage. Watch that below.
