Media Create Sales: 8/18/14 – 8/24/14

Yokai Watch 2 is the top-selling game in Japan this week for its seventh consecutive week since launch. The 3DS sequel moved another 77,000 copies, besting new releases like The Last of Us Remastered, Bullet Girls, and Diablo III.

PlayStation 4‘s The Last of Us update opened at 30,000 sales, while PS Vita’s sexy third-person shooter Bullet Girls moved 29,000. Diablo III moved over 33,000 across PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

Hardware sales have dropped compared to last week, the biggest differences being 3DS XL and Wii U, which sold 14,000 and 9,000 less than what it did last week.
