The latest set of Guilty Gear Xrd: Sign screenshots focus on the console version’s new Story Mode.
Up until now, the story of the Guilty Gear series has typically been told through an adventure game-style format. But with Guilty Gear Xrd: Sign, the story adds what Arc System Works describes as “TV anime-like cutscenes.” The Story Mode of the console versions will continue beyond the arcade version.
Outside of Story Mode, Arc also released a sample image of the “Fighter’s Pad GGXrd Custom,” a six-button game pad included with the 9,980 yen PlayStation 4 limited edition version of the game, as well as the “Guilty Gear Vocal Collection,” a soundtrack included with first-print run copies of the game.
