    • Budgiecat

      such a wuss lol

  • RyoonZ

Really like Chris before he consumed roids for maximum boulder punching.

  • Mikail

well for games that run on 6th generation consoles, at least they can do more then 1080p (make the pre rendered background become rendered in real-time 3d environment, and improve the character model and skin textures , lol just my opinion, but they should have done it, and they can even with 7th generation console.

    • Budgiecat

then that would effect the gameplay experience, turning it into more of an RE4/5/Revelations experience

      • Mikail

Resident Evil 3 Code Veronica says Hello :) with their real time 3d environment but still manage to bring their classic gameplay.

        • Michael Garling

Why did you include a ‘3’ in that title? Code: Veronica and Resi 3 are two totally different games.

          • Elle

Probably because he/she feels like CV feels more like a RE3 than the actual RE3 (like I do lol)

        • Budgiecat

Visually, Veronica’s backgrounds always looked inferior imo

          And basically what Elvick said…

          • Mikail

yup look f*** shit, on early 6th generation Consoles, but hey we talking about games that will come to 7th & 8th generation consoles. If you notice how great the stage on God of War 3 and Ascension on PS3 you might considered that7th generation console able to produce better graphic even with 3d environment, and more so with 8th generation consoles.

    • Elvick

Real time environments wouldn’t look as good. They wouldn’t put in enough effort to make that work. Pre-rendered is better.

  • jogden

WTF the second screenshot, looks really awful that background

    • Dick Mountainjoy

Well, Capcom hasn’t exactly knocked the last few REmasters out of the park.

    • Bob Obb

It’s basically the Gamecube version with some shitty upres and filters and slightly improved character models, which is funny because it makes them stand out even more against the low-res backgrounds.

I am sure most of us have played this game in various incarnations many. many times. They need to add something more attractive than just high resolution graphics.

    • vishmarx

      i havent.
ps1 version is too shoddy looking and i dont buy nintendo products.

  • NyaBoy

    Digital only and ugly

  • SuperLuigi

You were almost a Jill sandwhich!

    • Shinsua

      in HD!

  • Hidayat246

    nice nice

  • Sergio Montecarlo Vile

Guys, the cutscene where Jill and Chris are running to the mansion doesnt look like had being remastered. I hope I´m wrong lol

    • Budgiecat

How do you remaster prerendered CGI FMV without remaking it? (like M$ is doing with Halo MC collection)…

Dont expect Capcom to try that hard now…

  • Elle

I hope enough people buy this so that leaked fake or real RE2 HD logo becomes a reality.

    • LordKaiser

If it’s digital only it won’t

  • Kurisu Makise

I didn’t know the REmake was going to be on PS4 and Xbox One, gonna have to snag it on 8th gen instead (as I thought it was PS3/360 only). I’m pretty hyped but I do hope they polish up the game some more.

  • sunK1D

    1080p shots anytime now, thanks.

  • Tino S

Cool, I guess. I’m kind of hoping they’d update the game besides just updating them visually, but to go a step further and get rid of fixed angled camera environments, modernize it to an over the shoulder dual analog controlled game, and update the gameplay, the enemies and difficulty to accommodate for the updated combat controls and camera controls. Otherwise, I’m content just playing the old one I still have, but this will be good for people without it or who have never played it to invest in the best possible version.
