Plus, Shiva returns as a summons beast.

Final Fantasy Explorers

The Paladin and Hunter will be playable job classes in Final Fantasy Explorers, this week’s Famitsu reveals.

Additionally, the magazine reveals that the summons beast Shiva will appear as an enemy blocking the player’s path.

A release date for Final Fantasy Explorers is still to be announced.

Thanks, Famitsu.

Wait. Which Final Fantasy doesn’t have Shiva in it?

        Unless you count the ships…

In case people forgot, there’s a video from last month showing Knight, Monk, Hunter, Ninja, Black Mage, Paladin gameplay (+Shiva (2:21))

I didn’t even know about this game until today. I’m liking what I see from it so far.

    Looking ace!!!

The archer is going to suck to play as on 3DS. Another class in these types of games reliant on lock-on *sigh*

The rest looks real neat. I like the visuals in this game. I don’t know how to feel about the Final Fantasy branding being used though. It looks a lot more like Crystal Chronicles to me, and personally, I would like to see Square spin that off to it’s series. They believed enough in Bravely Default to let it be it’s own thing; I wish they’d trust Crystal Chronicles the same way.

And I wish they’d do more CC games in general. The downloadable titles were surprising awesome.

Wasn’t it called Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles? Don’t see the difference with there being an FF title before Explorers. You can short form it to Explorers like people did Crystal Chronicles

Looking good! The portable FF titles haven’t failes so far. Four Heroes of Light, Bravely Default. Really looking forward to this!
