Danganronpa: Another Episode difficulty modes detailed
“Despair Mode,” “Komaru Mode,” and “Genocide Mode.”Warning: This article may contain spoilers for Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair.
Danganronpa: Another Episode will have three degrees of difficulty, Famitsu’s latest online preview reveals.
The options are: “Despair Mode,” “Komaru Mode,” and “Genocide Mode.”
For the most difficult playthrough, the development team suggests Despair Mode. As the name suggests, it will have players experience true despair. Komaru Mode, on the other hand, is an easier mode where you can obtain more Truth Bullets. And for the player who is bad at action games and just wants to experience the story without dealing so much with in-game obstacles, there is Genocide Mode, where the invincible Genocide Jill will almost always come to your service.
Famitsu’s preview also looks at some of the game’s newly announced characters returning from Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and quite possibly Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair.
Both Makoto Naegi and Byakuya Togami will return.
And a character resembling Nagito Komaeda and voiced by the same actor will also appear. He is currently known only as “Servant.”
Additionally, Lerche, the studio that made Danganronpa: The Animation, released a new piece of artwork for the game.
Danganronpa: Another Episode will launch for PS Vita on September 25 in Japan.
