'A Spirit Seven Nights' Haunting' hits west a week after Japan.

Muramasa Rebirth 'A Spirited Seven Nights' Haunting' DLC

The third downloadable add-on for Muramasa Rebirth, ‘A Spirited Seven Nights’ Haunting,’ will launch for PS Vita in North America on July 15 and Europe on July 16, Aksys Games announced at Anime Expo.

The add-on sees runaway ninja Arashimaru, after destroying a holy mirror at an ancient shrine, dealt a life-threatening curse for seven nights as divine punishment.

If you missed it, a trailer was released in Japan yesterday.

So glad that the wait is not long for the English release. I guess they’re aware that non-Japanese audience were also anticipating this as well.

Here’s hoping the 4th DLC character is revealed soon and that Vanillaware announce a new game after that.

Agreed on the new game part and I hope it’s on PS4/Vita. Dragon’s Crown had some lag issues on PS3, won’t happen on PS4.

      or dragon’s crown dlc

      i wanna play as arnold

I hope it’s more like Muramasa than like Dragon’s Crown.

In terms of story and characerization where you have to control actual characters and not creating your own avatar?

If that’s what you meant, yeah that’s what I want too in their future game.

Still, I love Dragon’s Crown since I’m a huge fan of 2D beat-em-ups back in the arcades.

        • Zackasaur

Yes, that’s the main part of what I mean. I like real characters in a real narrative.

I also like the gameplay and art a hell of a lot better in Muramasa… It plays must faster and more smoothly, and it has a much more awesome feeling to it. On top of that, the aesthetic is just jaw-dropping.

I like Dragon’s Crown, but not half as much. The lack of narrative, co-op focus, ugly character designs (some, not all), slower and less agile gameplay… It just doesn’t hold up to what I want from Vanillaware.

For me, I’d have to say Muramasa > Odin Sphere > Dragon’s Crown.

      Yes Yes Yes!

  • Zackasaur

Sweet, I love a fast turnaround.
