Rumor: Mario Maker to be announced for 3DS next week

Nintendo will announce a Mario Maker for 3DS at E3, according to a supposed leaked image from the expo show floor, which is currently under construction.

The image was posted on Nintendo Enthusiast earlier today, but was dismissed as fake given the amount of false leaks that usually appear around this time. However, Polygon’s Michael McWhertor seems to be hinting at it being a little more legitimate than people think.

Judging by the image, the game, if a real product, will use the 3DS stylus to let players create their own Mario game stages.
